EpicX Ventures ("we", "us") operates https://brainkids.in. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and your rights, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
When you buy: your name, email address and phone number, the items purchased and the amount paid. Payment is handled by Razorpay; we receive a payment reference and status, never your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
When you request free sample pages: your email address and the age band you choose.
When you browse: anonymous analytics such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location (city level), referring site and the advertising identifiers set by Meta and Google when you arrive from an ad.
2. How we use it
To deliver your downloads and send your order confirmation and invoice.
To provide customer support and process refunds.
To send occasional tips and offers by email; every such email has a one-click unsubscribe.
To measure and improve our website and advertising, including sharing hashed (irreversible) email and phone values with Meta and Google so they can attribute purchases to ads.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers that run the store: Razorpay (payments), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (analytics), Meta and Google (advertising measurement). Each receives only what it needs. We never sell personal data.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (cart, session) and analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google). You can block cookies in your browser; the store still works, but attribution and some features may not.
5. Retention
Order and invoice records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained for 24 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by emailing hello@brainkids.in. We respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Our products are for children, but our customers are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. Download links are signed and expire. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will notify you as required by law.
